sorry for not reviewing sooner. Had work the other day. Anyway you're doing a great job with teaching us the past as well as Ichabod. You aren't just heaping everying together in one big blob. Continue with the good work.

As always wonderful. Also for your information you aren't using too much German, and I know I'm personally not upset about learning more about Ichabod's (Georg's) history. It fills us in on the past and what happened between Friedrick and Georg. Can't wait for the next chapter, keep up the good work.

Ooo, so good. Liked their meeting; the Hessian coming up behin him, and how he sighed in exasperation when Ichabod feinted again. What was this about patience when pursuing George? I'd like to know about that, but not right now, unless you can work it into a chapter where there is also some interaction with the Hessian and Ichabod. Don't pile up to much of the past at once (you haven't done that, just an advice). Also.. more Daredevil!! ;)

Yay! New chapter! I really do enjoy when you write about Georg as well as Ichabod, it gives a good balance to the story. Instead of what most authors do and write a history chapter as an 'Oh, by the way,' sort of thing. Keep writing, this has more than enough drive and potential to go somewhere.

This is great. For a long time now I've been rather disappointed in the quality of the Sleepy Hollow stories but now that you've taken it to yourself to write one, I'm very excited. So far this story seems absolutely brilliant. Once again you've taken a brand new setting and are working it woderfully. The sheer thoroughness and thoughtfulness is obvious from the text, and any reader looking for a deeper read is certain to be more than satisfied by epic style and scale of this piece.
On another note, though, I feel that there is something I should comment on, although it might not be all that nice; in this story as well as others, I've noticed that you seem to have a bit of a blind spot when it comes to the twin words 'was' and 'were'. This is a very minor detail on anyone who has managed to master another language so well, but what can I say, I have a thing about spelling.
But so far this story is absolutely fantastic. I've never seen the Horseman as such a fully developed character before and I must say you're doing an amazing work of him. The way we learn more and more about him, through the historical events as well as through Ichabod's dreams is captivating characterization at its best. This story is a real masterpiece in the making and I, for one, can't wait to see more of it.
