Excellent story, so full of pain and angst; poor Obi-Wan, always so abused. This passage in particular is so well-written and captures in heartbreaking detaispecspecially the part where he wants his master to rescue him) Obi's torment. "Obi-Wan's voice was already hoarse from screaming as every part of his body seemed to hurt. He was sick of the taste and smell of his own blood. He wanted it to be over, wanted his master to come and rescue him. Never in his life he had felt so helpless, so… scared and humiliated as his own body betrayed him again and he came with an angry cry."

Xanatos was so clearly drawn, his motives easily understood. Interesting perspective, to be privy to his thoughts, rather than Obi's. This part, "Just one thing left to do. He glanced at the barely conscious body lying on the floor. Smiling, he kneeled down, stroking the boy's pale face before he withdrew his hand and touched the insides of Obi-Wan's legs. As it came back covered in blood hew aew a broken circle on Obi-Wan's right cheek." was so chilling and completely in character for Xanatos, as I imagine him. I love that Xanatos can still sense Qui-Gon: "Xanatos felt him. He felt Qui-Gon approaching." Makes the whole scene so riveting.

Ending the story when you did, before Qui-Gon's rescue and comforting of Obi, is bittersweet. Might that indicate a sequel? My fingers are crossed. You are an awesome author and I would love to see more of your work! Thanks for sharing this story.
